Not just a senior portrait—it's a celebration of who you are and where you're going.

Before Your Session

1. Plan Your Outfits

Choose 2–3 outfits that reflect your personality!

  • Variety is key: Bring a mix of styles — casual, dressy, and something in between.
  • Think timeless: Solid colors or subtle patterns photograph beautifully.
  • Layers + accessories: Jackets, hats, scarves, and jewelry can elevate your look.
  • Avoid neon colors or large logos — they can distract from your natural beauty.

2. Hair & Makeup Tips

  • Professional makeup is always a great option, but keep it natural and true to you.
  • Be sure to touch up roots or get a trim if needed a week before the session.
  • Bring lip gloss, powder, and a brush for quick touch-ups during the session.

3. Nails Matter

Your hands will be in photos — treat yourself to a fresh manicure (neutral shades or clear polish work best).

🌅 Day of Your Session

  • Arrive on time with hair and makeup ready to go.
  • Don’t stress — this is YOUR time to shine!
  • I’ll guide you through flattering poses and help you feel completely comfortable.

💡 Golden hour magic happens about an hour before sunset — if your session is during that time, expect dreamy, glowing light!

💬 A Little Reminder...

This session is all about YOU. Don’t worry about being a model — you don’t need to know how to pose or where to look. I’ve got you. Come ready to laugh, twirl, and be your amazing self. We’re going to create something truly special.

📅 After the Session

Within about one week of your portrait session, we'll meet for your Portrait Reveal & Design Appointment.

This is one of my favorite parts of the experience! You'll see your beautifully edited portraits for the very first time, and together we'll design artwork that fits your home and your family's style.

Whether you're dreaming of a statement wall portrait, a gallery wall, or a handcrafted heirloom album, I'll guide you through the options so you can choose the pieces you'll enjoy for years to come.

If scheduling an in-person appointment isn't possible, we can arrange a virtual design consultation instead.
